Tips
for Success
-
Check the student agenda
nightly. Be sure the student is filling it out for each class (writing
daily assignments).
-
Hold the student responsible
for good work and study habits. The student should be the one to
hand in work and return correspondence between school and home.
-
Check over graded papers
regularly. Go over mistakes with the student and ask them to make corrections.
-
Be sure student has necessary
supplies:
paper, pencil with eraser, ruler, markers or crayons, colored pencils,
blue or black erasable pen, glue, and scissors
-
Check agenda for upcoming
test dates and begin preparing early. Studying briefly for several
days is more effective than a long study period the night before a test.
