Happening. . .
Fifth
graders will be learning ways to use handheld computers to enhance their
learning. Here are some of the things students have said about the
handhelds:
"I really
like the handhelds because they helped me for this test. You have
fun and learn at the same time. I wish I had one."
"I think
that handhelds helped because it was fun but it still helps me learn and
study."
"I thought
using the handhelds for practice was fun. And I'm glad we did. And
it was much faster than pencil and paper."
"The
handhelds helped me a lot. Writing the sentences is what really helped
me. Thanks"
"The
handhelds really helped me study. Quizzler was fun and taught me the vocab
words I wasn't so sure about."
"Quizzler
helped me on this test because when the quiz came up it all just came to
me, I knew he answers just like that. I took the quiz 5 times and
got 100% every time! The 17 sentences helped me a little but not
as much as Quizzler did. If I get an A on this then I'll know that
Quizzler and the 17 sentences helped me a lot" (This student
did get 100% on the test, too!)
"The
handhelds helped me by using Quizzler. I really liked it because
it was a fun way to learn. I liked it so much I did it 6 times.
I think I'm going to do real well on this test." (Another 100%)
